The House of W, in Hamburg, is a ready-made, cost-effective low-energy house. Kraus Schönberg's design is aimed at a young family, split into an upper and a lower region, where partitions in the basement result in an open-plan space.

This tiny but highly sophisticated studio apartment in NYC was not only built as a super efficient multi-functional unit, but with a decent amount of floor space, clever storage utilising usually, 'lost' space, and stylishly set-up essential areas.
