In My Dreams, I Live Here / 2

In the city of Hong Kong space is limited and extremely valuable, with many families living in extremely cramped conditions, working to avoid confusion and a negative living experience. After growing up in such a way, architect Gary Chang tackled this common problem by creating his apartment, the 'Domestic Transformer'.

Using sliding panels & walls, and fold away furniture, Gary's 300 square foot home can transform into twenty-four different combinations! His home maximises space, efficiency, and light, making it a cosy yet livable, functional, and seemingly spacious apartment.
